We had a fun-filled last week of school! Congratulations on completing fourth grade and good luck in fifth grade!
On Monday, we had a terrific "Around the World" Field Day. On Tuesday, the class put on our Wax Museum. Thank you for all of your support with that. On Wednesday, we had a great End of the Year Picnic with all of our fourth grade friends. On Thursday, we celebrated all of the summer birthdays. Finally, today, we had a nice last day together, during which we read aloud "Last Day Blues" by Julie Danneburg and did some of the leftover crafts from the picnic.

News:
- Are you moving? If you already know your child will not be with us next school year, please inform our main office and your child’s teacher. You must complete and submit the Release of Students Records form, giving us permission to transfer your child’s records. Contact our Registrar, Maria O’Donnell, at (732) 821-7478 ext. 3705, or email her at Maria.O’[email protected] with any questions. Keep in mind our secretaries have summer hours and vacations scheduled, so planning ahead will help us transfer your child’s records in a timely manner to their new school. Should you have any questions please call the school.
- Most documents in our online Friday Folder for the 2017-2018 school year will be deleted on Saturday, June 23rd. If there is something you'd like to access from the past, you should do so now. Our last Friday Folder, with the last issue of The Crossing school newsletter, will be posted on June 22nd. This may be one of the few items available to view through the following week.
- Report Cards are available to view on Genesis, as of the last day of school. Please note that the second trimester reading level range may have been adjusted on your child's current report card. For some students, the reading level that your child was at during Trimester 2 was reported as a level above where they actually were. Using the grade sheet that you were given at conferences in March, that reading level is correct and it is now reflected on the current Report Card.
Happy Summer Vacation!
